Zucchini fasírt

The zucchini fritter can be a great snack on its own, especially when paired with a dipping sauce. However, if you’d like, you can turn it into a main dish by serving it with any side you prefer. And not to mention, your vegetarian friends will not only love the fritters but will also adore you if you make it for them.

  • 1 medium-sized zucchini
  • Salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 100g grated cheese
  • Bread crumbs
  • Oil




  1. Wash the zucchini, grate or finely shred it, and then sprinkle some salt over it. Set it aside for about 10-15 minutes and then squeeze out the excess liquid.
  2. Mix the zucchini with the eggs, crushed garlic, and finely chopped parsley.
  3. Add the grated cheese and enough bread crumbs to make the mixture moldable. Season with salt according to your taste.
  4. Shape the mixture into balls or patties, then fry the zucchini fritters in plenty of oil until they are golden brown.
