Who wouldn’t love the homemade cream pastry? A true classic dessert that can brighten up anyone’s mood. Prepare this simple yet fantastic version!
- 2 packs of puff pastry with yeast (400g each)
- powdered sugar
For the cream:
- 2 packs of vanilla pudding powder
- 130g sugar
- 800ml milk
- 500ml cold whipping cream
- 2 packs of whipped cream stabilizer
For the simple homemade cream pastry recipe, first, bake the puff pastry sheets separately. Cut one of the sheets into 15 equal squares and bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes.
For the cream, mix the pudding powder and sugar in the milk until smooth, then cook it into a thick pudding and let it cool completely. Start whipping the whipping cream until it’s almost fully stiff, then sprinkle in one pack of whipped cream stabilizer. After that, add the cooled pudding and then incorporate the second stabilizer pack.
Spread the cream over the pre-baked sheet that wasn’t cut into squares, then place the other sheet on top. Put it in the refrigerator for 3 hours, then serve by cutting into cubes and dusting with powdered sugar.
Preparation time: 30 minutes + 3 hours of chilling.
