Instructions

  1. Finely chop the onion and sauté it in oil with a pinch of salt until it becomes golden brown.

  2. Cut the bread roll into 2 cm cubes, pour warm milk over it, and let it soak up the milk. You don’t need to squeeze it; this is why you only need a small amount of milk. This will make the final result extra juicy.

  3. Mix together the minced pork, spices, soaked bread roll, and breadcrumbs. Add the crushed garlic, season with salt, crack in the egg, and mix thoroughly. Let it rest in the refrigerator for half an hour.

  4. Shape the mixture into golf ball-sized patties and flatten them slightly to give them their characteristic shape. Roll them in breadcrumbs.

  5. Heat oil to 160 degrees Celsius (320 degrees Fahrenheit) and fry the patties for 3-4 minutes on each side until they are golden brown. Place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.

Preparation time: 40 minutes + 30 minutes resting time.

Enjoy your delicious meatloaf!
