This sweet paprika is suitable for stews, soups, gulash, and every kind of food, which needs a bright, red color without making the dish too spicy, hot. How to make an easy „Hungarian Pörkölt”? Fry onion in oil, remove from the heat, add generosly Kalocsa paprika, add little water, meat, tomatoes, green paprika, carrot, and cook the meat tender.
Caution! Before you spread the paprika on the hot ingredients, remove from the heat, avoiding a burnt eftertaste for your food.
